Ethereum ETFs close week in red, end 5-day inflow streak

Summary

US-listed spot Ethereum ETFs posted $70.62 million in net outflows on Friday, ending a five-day inflow streak. Even so, they still recorded $103.9 million in net inflows for the week, extending their weekly inflow run to three straight weeks and bringing July inflows to $337.74 million. Spot Bitcoin ETFs followed a similar pattern, with $240.08 million in Friday outflows after ending a seven-day inflow streak the day before. They also kept a three-week inflow streak alive, adding $103.9 million for the week and $233.96 million so far in July. The flows come as both assets pulled back from recent highs, with BTC trading just below $64,000 and ETH around $1,837. US-listed crypto ETFs remain the main gauge of traditional investor demand for Bitcoin and Ether.
