Hyperscale sells Bitcoin for AI business set to deliver less than 20% of 2027 revenue

Summary

Hyperscale Data projects 2027 revenue of $300 million to $350 million, up from about $102 million in 2025, with Adjusted EBITDA of $60 million to $80 million. Despite heavy focus on AI, the Michigan data center, AI infrastructure and robotics businesses are expected to contribute only $40 million to $50 million in 2027, or about 11% to 17% of revenue. Most revenue is expected to come from lending, digital assets and portfolio companies. To fund the AI buildout, the company sold Bitcoin and borrowed against remaining holdings, using the proceeds to convert its Michigan mining site into an AI data center. Management calls 2027 a transition year because capacity will come online in stages; larger revenue is expected in 2028. A long-term AI customer agreement could eventually be worth more than $1.2 billion, or over $3 billion if expanded.
