Galaxy lands 15-year Texas Tech stadium naming rights deal
Galaxy Digital signed a 15-year naming rights deal with Texas Tech, renaming the football stadium Galaxy Stadium starting with the 2026 season. The agreement also makes Galaxy the official data center and digital assets partner of Texas Tech Athletics, with plans to support student-athlete NIL opportunities, AI initiatives, and workforce development programs. The stadium will debut under its new name on Sept. 5 against Abilene Christian; financial terms were not disclosed. The deal expands Galaxy’s presence in West Texas, near its Helios data center campus in Dickens County, which has 1.6 gigawatts of approved capacity for AI and high-performance computing. It also reflects Texas’ growing role as a crypto and digital infrastructure hub, with major miners and operators already active in the state and recent policy moves supporting the industry.
