HIFI raises $37M to expand stablecoin payments, tokenized markets

Summary

HIFI raised $37 million in a Series A led by Left Lane Capital, marking its first priced round. The company says it processes about $7 billion in annualized volume and will use the funding to scale stablecoin payments and tokenized capital markets infrastructure. Demand is rising as stablecoins gain traction for payments and cross-border transfers: cross-border stablecoin flows increased 77.5% to $220.3 billion in the 12 months ending June 2026, even as the broader crypto market declined. HIFI’s platform connects stablecoins with traditional finance, helping move dollars into and out of stablecoins, route payouts through US banking rails and cards, and settle tokenized repo and Treasury transactions in dollars. It has also expanded card-based payouts through Visa Direct. The raise comes amid broader industry adoption, with firms like Visa and DTCC advancing blockchain-based financial infrastructure.
