Litecoin Sees Massive Surge In Whale Activity: Price Surge Incoming?
Litecoin has experienced a significant increase in whale activity, with daily transactions over $100,000 rising from around 800 in late August to approximately 1,100 by September 7, marking a 25% increase. This surge occurs amid generally low trading activity in the broader cryptocurrency market. Alongside this uptick in transactions, social media discussions about Litecoin have also surged, increasing from under 0.3% to about 2.922% during the same period. Litecoin is currently trading at $62, down 2.6% in the past 24 hours, and is positioned just above a critical price floor of $61. The price had previously risen from $60 to a peak of $68 before the recent decline. Analysts suggest that continued social engagement could support a potential rally, with resistance levels identified at $77 and support levels at $56 to $49.90.
