NYSE is assembling the pipes for a $5.5 trillion tokenized asset market

Summary

NYSE Group and Blockchain.com signed a memorandum of understanding that could give Blockchain.com users access to tokenized US stocks and ETFs on NYSE’s planned 24-hour digital trading venue, subject to regulatory approval. The companies also plan to exchange market data: ICE Data Services would distribute Blockchain.com crypto pricing and analytics, while Blockchain.com would integrate ICE and NYSE feeds into its app. The agreement builds on NYSE’s partnerships with OKX for customer distribution and Securitize for tokenization infrastructure. The companies have not disclosed launch timing, eligible securities, or jurisdictions. Blockchain.com already offers tokenized US equities through Ondo Finance in some markets.
