The XRP Ledger’s Batch upgrade has been delayed at least 10 days after validator support briefly fell below the threshold needed to activate it. Batch would allow up to eight transactions to be submitted together, with an all-or-nothing option suited to trades such as exchanging payment for a tokenized asset. The corrected version regained support from 30 of 35 trusted validators on Sept. 25, restarting the required two-week countdown; activation could occur as soon as Oct. 9 if support remains above 80%. The feature’s first version was withdrawn over a signature-checking flaw. A separate upgrade for delegating approved account tasks also lost and regained support, pushing its earliest activation to Oct. 8.
