Strategy raises $334M through stock sales but buys no Bitcoin
Strategy raised $333.7 million last week by selling 3.46 million MSTR shares through its at-the-market program, but it did not buy any Bitcoin. Its BTC holdings remained unchanged at 840,447 coins, acquired for $63.36 billion total at an average price of $75,385 each. Of the stock-sale proceeds, $52.4 million went to twice-monthly dividends on STRC preferred stock, $132.2 million was used to repurchase about 1.39 million STRC shares, and $149.1 million was added to the U.S. dollar reserve. No other preferred shares or MSTR common stock were repurchased. The company’s U.S. dollar reserve stood at $4.80 billion as of Sunday, including unsettled stock-sale proceeds, and is meant to support preferred-stock dividends and debt interest payments.
