Strategy sells MSTR shares, buys back $25M in STRC preferred stock

Summary

Strategy continued reshaping its capital structure last week by selling 5,429,160 Class A shares through its at-the-market program, raising $544.5 million in net proceeds. It also repurchased 288,930 shares of its STRC preferred stock for $25 million. The new fundraising lifted its U.S. dollar reserve to $3.75 billion as of July 26, up from $3.225 billion a week earlier. During the July 20–26 period, it made no Bitcoin trades, leaving holdings unchanged at 843,775 BTC acquired at an average price of $75,476 per coin. The larger cash buffer is meant to support preferred dividends and debt interest as the company continues active use of common and preferred stock financing. The update also followed Michael Saylor’s cryptic post about needing “another color,” which fueled speculation about further preferred-stock moves.
