Strategy will beat all public equities with Bitcoin, analyst says
Michael Saylor’s Strategy, a major corporate holder of Bitcoin, could potentially become the largest publicly traded equity, according to analyst Jeff Walton. The company holds approximately 568,840 Bitcoin, valued at around $59 billion. Walton predicts this asset advantage could propel Strategy ahead of all publicly listed firms. The firm demonstrated financial strength by raising $12 billion in just 50 days in November 2024. Saylor envisions the company growing from a $100 billion enterprise to a $1 trillion or even a $10 trillion enterprise. He forecasts Bitcoin could reach $13 million per coin by 2045, with a target of $1 million within ten years. Currently, Strategy ranks as the 151st largest company globally, with a market capitalization of $117 billion, needing to surpass Microsoft’s market cap of over $3.3 trillion to become the largest.
