Swiss stablecoin sandbox enters testing phase, adds two new partners

Nine Swiss companies are testing CHFD, a Swiss franc stablecoin, in a sandbox pilot for programmable payments and digital asset settlement. The pilot will assess whether programmable payments can help reduce fraud on online marketplaces, improve fair access to event tickets, and make public payments more efficient. Financial market operator SIX and payment app TWINT have joined the initiative, which began in April.
