Coinbase announced several major product expansions at its year-end “System Update” conference. The company is launching stock trading for U.S. users, enabling 24/7 trading of stocks and ETFs in competition with platforms like Robinhood. Prediction markets, powered by Kalshi, allow betting on topics such as sports and politics. A new AI-powered tool, Coinbase Advisor, provides users with investment advice across crypto, stocks, and prediction markets and is currently in limited beta.
