Trump Media considers crypto token and wallet for streaming arm
Trump Media and Technology Group is exploring the integration of a crypto token and wallet into its streaming service, Truth+. The utility token would initially be used for subscription payments and later for other products within the Truth ecosystem. This initiative is part of a broader rewards program across Trump Media's platforms, including Truth Social and Truth.Fi. The company previously filed a trademark for a digital wallet and crypto payment processing. Truth+ targets a conservative audience and launched in October. Trump Media has partnered with Crypto.com and Yorkville America Digital to create ETFs focused on American-made assets. Plans include investing up to $250 million in various financial products, including cryptocurrencies. Concerns about potential conflicts of interest have arisen, particularly regarding Trump's involvement with crypto ventures and his stake in World Liberty Financial, where he serves as "Chief Crypto Advocate."
