Trump Says He 'Likes' Flock Surveillance Cameras Amid Bipartisan Pushback
Trump publicly endorsed Flock Safety’s AI license-plate cameras, saying he “sort of like[s] them” because they help law enforcement, while acknowledging privacy objections. The company’s network of more than 120,000 cameras across 6,000+ communities scans about 20 billion vehicles a month, and critics say it creates detailed movement logs on ordinary people.
