US Bitcoin ETFs Log First-Ever Back-to-Back $1B Inflows

Summary

US-based spot Bitcoin ETFs experienced over $1 billion in inflows for two consecutive days, totaling $1.03 billion on Friday and $1.17 billion on Thursday. This marks the first instance of back-to-back days with ten-digit inflows since their January 2024 launch. The total inflows for the week reached $2.72 billion, coinciding with Bitcoin's price hitting all-time highs of $112,000 and $118,780. BlackRock's spot Bitcoin ETF (IBIT) became the fastest ETF to surpass $80 billion in assets under management (AUM) within 374 days. Total assets for all spot Bitcoin ETFs exceeded $140 billion for the first time. Demand for Bitcoin ETFs significantly outpaced daily mined supply, raising concerns about sustainability at current price levels.
