Weekly crypto inflow hits record high of $3.85 billion as Bitcoin, Ethereum, and XRP shine
Crypto investment products recorded $3.85 billion in weekly inflows, reaching $41 billion year-to-date (YTD) and increasing assets under management (AuM) to $165 billion. Bitcoin led with $2.5 billion in inflows, totaling $36.5 billion YTD. US-based Bitcoin ETFs, particularly BlackRock’s IBIT and Fidelity’s FBTC, significantly contributed to these figures. The inflows have surpassed the holdings of Bitcoin's creator, Satoshi Nakamoto. Short Bitcoin products saw inflows of $6.2 million, indicating cautious bearish sentiment amid bullish market trends. Ethereum attracted $1.2 billion in inflows, its highest since Ethereum-based ETFs launched, totaling over $1.3 billion in two weeks. XRP gained over $134 million, driven by optimism for a potential US ETF launch and reaching a seven-year price high above $2, though it recently pulled back to $2.43.
