Winklevoss-backed Zcash ETF files with SEC for Nasdaq listing

Summary

Winklevoss Asset Services filed with the SEC to launch a spot Zcash ETF that would hold ZEC directly and seek a Nasdaq listing under ticker WINK. Gemini Trust would custody the tokens, and the fund would charge a 0.25% annual fee without using leverage or derivatives. Winklevoss Capital affiliates expressed nonbinding interest in buying up to $100 million of shares. The ETF would add to Grayscale’s already-trading Zcash fund. ZEC had risen more than 735% over the prior year and was trading near $1,354, with a market capitalization of about $23 billion.
