Wyoming adds Chainlink reserve verification to state-issued stable token
Wyoming is adding near-real-time onchain reserve verification to its Frontier Stable Token (FRNT) by expanding its use of Chainlink’s Proof of Reserve. The system combines independent reserve checks by The Network Firm with Chainlink infrastructure to publish verified data on FRNT’s reserves and supply onchain, giving faster visibility between required reporting periods. Wyoming already posts daily reserve attestations, while federal rules require monthly disclosures. The commission also plans to use Chainlink’s Secure Mint so new FRNT can only be minted if verified reserves meet or exceed circulating supply. FRNT, launched in January and backed by U.S. dollars and short-term Treasurys, sends reserve income to Wyoming’s School Foundation Program. The move follows FRNT’s full migration to Chainlink’s CCIP for cross-chain transfers.
