XRP 30-day exchange inflows pass 6B tokens as whales move to the sidelines

Summary

CryptoQuant data shows XRP exchange inflows reached 6.05 billion tokens in the 30 days to Oct. 19, the highest level since March and twice the mid-August amount. XRP rose from about $1 to $1.70 before falling to around $1.30. Meanwhile, the 90-day average of whale exchange outflows has dropped 98.6% from its February 2025 peak to $49.7 million, a low not seen since October 2021. CryptoQuant says subdued whale activity could leave XRP without strong buying support. Separately, Glassnode reports Bitcoin profit-taking eased as BTC traded between $80,000 and $87,000: its realized profit/loss ratio fell 50% over the week, from 0.8 to 0.4.
