ARP Digital secures Dubai VARA broker-dealer license
ARP Digital secured a broker-dealer license from Dubai’s Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority, enabling it to offer regulated conversions between digital assets and UAE dirhams. The license covers UAE corporates, capital markets participants, and qualified investors, including stablecoin-to-dirham conversions and a regulated path to move digital asset capital into UAE assets. This is ARP Digital’s second regulated Gulf market, alongside Bahrain, where it is licensed by the Central Bank and says it has handled more than $3.5 billion in volume for over 450 institutional and corporate counterparties. The firm provides OTC liquidity, cross-border settlement, fiat on- and off-ramps, and wealth management. The approval comes amid Dubai’s rapid expansion of its regulated virtual asset sector, with VARA continuing to issue new licenses.
