Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs Add More Than $1 Billion Combined in a Single Day
Bitcoin and Ethereum exchange-traded funds (ETFs) attracted over $1 billion in new investments, marking the highest combined inflows in five months. BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) led with $877 million in net inflows, contributing to a total of $935 million for Bitcoin funds. IBIT has not experienced outflows since April 9 and has amassed over $1.9 billion in assets this week alone. Bitcoin's price surged over 48% since early April, reaching a record of $111,814. Ethereum ETFs received more than $110 million in inflows, primarily from Grayscale and Fidelity. Ethereum's price increased by over 46% in the past month, currently trading at $2,565. BlackRock's iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA) has garnered over $4.3 billion in net inflows, significantly surpassing competitors. Overall, the eight trading Ethereum funds have generated more than $2.7 billion in net inflows.
