Bitcoin ETFs draw $197M, snap 8-week outflow streak

Summary

US-listed spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $197.4 million in net inflows for the week ended Friday, ending an eight-week streak of outflows. BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust led with $291.9 million in inflows, while Grayscale, Fidelity, and ARK 21Shares saw withdrawals. The rebound may signal recovering institutional demand, but analysts said it is too early to call a trend reversal because ETF and stablecoin flows remain weak and August-September seasonality could weigh on prices. The weekly inflow was small relative to the $8.26 billion pulled from these funds since May 11. US-listed spot Ether ETFs also ended an eight-week outflow streak, posting $84.42 million in weekly inflows, mainly from BlackRock and Fidelity. However, that remains far below the $1.2 billion withdrawn since May 11.
