RWAs become Hyperliquid’s largest trading category

Summary

Hyperliquid’s weekly trading volume in tokenized real-world assets (RWAs) passed the combined volume of all other asset categories for the first time. From July 13–19, RWAs accounted for $25.1 billion of trading volume, or 52% of Hyperliquid’s $48.2 billion weekly total. This growth reflects rising demand for tokenized assets on the platform: RWA holders increased 32% in the past month to 1.25 million, while the total value of tokenized RWAs reached $36.7 billion. Hyperliquid also generated $7.6 million in weekly revenue, ranking third among crypto applications behind Tether and Circle. The surge is being seen as part of a broader shift toward tokenized financial assets and 24/7 onchain trading, attracting attention from major crypto firms and traditional financial institutions.
