Mysten Labs tech chief joins Anthropic to work on AI security

Sam Blackshear, co-founder and CTO of Mysten Labs, is leaving to join Anthropic, where he will focus on defensive security research. He co-founded Mysten Labs in 2021 with four former Meta executives and helped build the Sui blockchain. Blackshear said Mysten Labs co-founder and CEO Evan Cheng will guide the company’s technical vision after his departure.
