MoonPay adds Cash App Pay for crypto purchases by US customers
MoonPay has added Cash App Pay as a payment option for crypto purchases, letting eligible US users fund transactions with their Cash App balances. The feature works through MoonPay’s checkout and selected partners such as Trust Wallet, Bitcoin.com, MetaMask, Moonshot, Ledger, BitPay, Uniswap, Tangem, LOBSTR, and Edge. Users can buy crypto directly without switching apps or logging in separately. MoonPay now supports Cash App, PayPal, and Venmo as payment integrations. Cash App already offers Bitcoin buying and selling, and this integration expands access to a broader set of digital assets. MoonPay says Cash App’s large user base makes it a major entry point for digital assets. The move comes as MoonPay continues expanding beyond fiat-to-crypto onboarding, with recent acquisitions in trading infrastructure, security, and cross-chain tools, plus new products for AI-assisted crypto transactions.
