Strive Adds $143 Million in Bitcoin as Treasury Firms Pile Back In
Strive bought another 1,800 Bitcoin for about $143 million, paying an average of $79,431 per coin. That lifts its total holdings to 23,156 BTC, worth about $1.76 billion at the cited reference price. The company has been steadily adding to its treasury as part of an aggressive Bitcoin accumulation strategy since its Nasdaq listing under ticker ASST after merging with Asset Entities. Strive, co-founded by Vivek Ramaswamy, recently added $81 million in Bitcoin alongside a share sale. The move comes as public companies continue adopting Bitcoin treasury strategies inspired by Strategy, despite Bitcoin’s volatility. Buying across the sector has picked up again as Bitcoin rebounded, with Strategy and Bitmine also making fresh purchases. Bitcoin traded near $78,600, up more than 24% in August.
