Bitcoin ETFs just absorbed 11,500 BTC in their biggest buying day in nearly two years
Summary
US spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $999 million in net inflows on Sept. 21, their largest daily total of 2026, as Bitcoin climbed above $86,000 and briefly topped $87,000. The funds absorbed about 11,530 BTC, led by BlackRock’s IBIT, ARKB and Fidelity’s FBTC. Despite the large creations, ETF trading volume was about $4.5 billion, close to the prior session. Analysts cautioned that reported flows lag trading, so much of the inflow may reflect Friday’s activity; upcoming disclosures should clarify whether the latest rally prompted further buying.
