Bitcoin’s ETF rebound just lost 38% of its gains in four sessions as BTC fell below $63,000
US spot Bitcoin ETFs saw $131.1 million in net outflows on Aug. 13, as most funds shed assets while only Morgan Stanley’s Bitcoin Trust and Grayscale’s Bitcoin Mini Trust ETF took in capital. Morgan Stanley added $7.1 million and Grayscale’s Mini Trust brought in $38.9 million, partly offsetting $177.1 million in gross outflows from seven other products. Grayscale’s GBTC lost $36.3 million, but the firm’s two funds still ended the day $2.6 million net positive. The largest withdrawals came from ARK 21Shares’ ARKB (-$58.8 million) and Fidelity’s FBTC (-$55.1 million), followed by smaller outflows from BITB, BTCO, IBIT, and BTCW. The pullback came as Bitcoin fell below $63,000, and it extended a softer run for ETF demand: the funds posted $332 million in net outflows over the four sessions through Aug. 13, though August remained net positive overall.
