Fireblocks Prepares for Bull Market by Adding New Executive After New CFO Hire
Cryptocurrency custody firm Fireblocks is expanding its executive team in preparation for an expected increase in retail and institutional customers. The company has hired Michal Ferguson as chief marketing officer, Michael Levine as CFO, and Madan Gadde as Chief Customer Officer. Fireblocks raised $550 million at an $8 billion valuation in early 2022 and has been making significant hires over the past year in anticipation of growth in the crypto market. CEO Michael Shaulov stated that the company's mission is not dependent on the price of bitcoin, but on the use of crypto for payments, tokenization, and big brands. The addition of a CFO from a large U.S.-listed fintech suggests that Fireblocks may be considering a public listing in the future.
