Institutional investor Paul Tudor Jones adds 109,446 BlackRock Bitcoin ETF shares while cutting calls by 85%
Tudor Investment’s June 30 13F shows a mixed shift in BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF (IBIT) holdings: direct IBIT shares rose 18.9% to 688,529 from 579,083, while reported call-equivalent exposure fell 85.2%. Put-equivalent exposure changed little, slipping to 715,000 from 725,000. The filing valued the direct shares at $22.9 million, the call line at $4.93 million, and the put line at $23.8 million. Compared with March 31, the disclosure became much less call-heavy and relatively more put-heavy, suggesting a more cautious posture. Still, Form 13F only reports underlying-share equivalents and excludes key details like strikes, premiums, expirations, and short or written positions, so the exact Bitcoin ETF strategy and net directional exposure remain unclear.
