Israel’s largest bank taps Galaxy to offer Bitcoin, Ether, Solana trading

Summary

Bank Leumi has partnered with Galaxy Digital to let customers trade Bitcoin, Ether, and Solana through its investment platform, with launch expected in early 2027. The service will be available to Leumi and Pepper mobile banking customers through a dedicated section of the Leumi Trade app, allowing them to buy, hold, and sell the three cryptocurrencies. Leumi says this would make it the first Israeli bank to offer digital asset trading services. Galaxy will provide trading through GalaxyOne Institutional and custody infrastructure through its GK8 platform. Leumi serves millions of retail and business customers. Galaxy recently reported an $85 million quarterly net loss but said its digital assets business still posted strong adjusted gross profit growth.
