Ondo Puts BlackRock-Designed Portfolios Into Single Onchain Tokens
Ondo has launched tokenized “Intelligent Portfolios” that package investment strategies into single onchain products instead of requiring users to assemble individual tokenized assets. The first three portfolios target distinct profiles: high income, diversified growth, and high growth. Ondo says the allocation models were developed by BlackRock, but BlackRock is not issuing or managing the tokens; Ondo Global Markets handles issuance and operations. The launch signals a broader shift in tokenization from placing isolated assets onchain, such as Treasuries or funds, toward recreating the asset-management layer itself with diversified portfolios, lending, and structured exposure. Ondo has already expanded into tokenized Treasuries, stocks, and derivatives, and these portfolios extend that ecosystem. Access is limited to eligible investors outside the U.S. in permitted jurisdictions.
