Payments platform Decta explores stablecoin-enabled treasury settlement

Summary

Decta will use USDC for its own international treasury settlements, not for customer payments. The payments platform is working with OpenPayd to convert company funds into USDC through regulated infrastructure and OTC services, helping Decta move money between entities, manage liquidity, and streamline back-end operations. The move shows stablecoins being adopted inside traditional payments infrastructure for treasury and liquidity management. Decta said it wants faster, simpler, and more resilient financial operations while keeping existing controls and regulatory discipline. Decta, founded in London in 2015, provides payment processing, acquiring, card issuing, banking, and other financial services across 32 countries. OpenPayd, founded in London in 2018, connects fiat and digital assets and received MiCA authorization in June.
