Samsung Wallet to add USDC transfers for US Galaxy users in October

Samsung plans to add USDC transfers to Samsung Wallet for eligible US Galaxy users in the last week of October. Users will be able to send USDC to compatible crypto wallets internationally or transfer funds to bank accounts in more than 60 countries, where recipients can receive local currency. The service will support 82 million compatible US devices and require identity verification. Transfers to external crypto wallets will be fee-free, while international bank transfers will incur fees. Bastion will provide payment infrastructure, Coinbase will act as sub-custodian, and Solana and Sui are technical partners.
