Securitize Brings Nvidia, Apple and Amazon Onchain With Tokenized Stocks on Solana
Summary
Securitize launched tokenized versions of 12 major U.S. stocks on Solana, initially trading through its registered broker-dealer platform and settling in USDC. Each token is backed one-to-one by a real share and represents a security entitlement, with dividends and applicable voting rights; shares will not be lent, and conversion to registered shares may be available where supported. Trading will use Securitize’s automated market maker, with Jump Trading providing liquidity and extended hours at launch. The company plans to move to 24/7 trading and says the tokens may later be supported by proposed NYSE and OKX-ICE venues, neither of which is live. The launch also targets use in onchain lending and collateral markets.
