SharpLink Will Stake $200M of Ethereum Through Lido's wstETH

Summary

SharpLink, a Miami-based digital asset treasury company, will stake $200 million of Ethereum through Lido, receiving wstETH, the liquid receipt token for staked ETH. Anchorage Digital will provide custody. The move lets SharpLink earn staking rewards while keeping the position liquid and usable in DeFi as collateral or for trading. The company said the allocation deepens its treasury diversification and fits its strategy of making ETH productive without giving up liquidity. SharpLink already holds a large ETH treasury, reporting 888,938 ETH as of August 3, 2026, so the Lido allocation represents about 12% of its stack. The decision comes amid growing institutional interest in ETH treasury strategies, with companies increasingly using staking to generate yield on idle assets.
