Solana Mobile Gears Up to Airdrop SKR Token to Seeker Phone Users—But Not Saga Owners
Solana Mobile will airdrop its new SKR token on January 20, 2026, to Seeker smartphone users and developers, excluding earlier Solana Saga phone owners. The airdrop covers 20% (2 billion) of the total 10 billion SKR token supply, with eligibility determined by a prior snapshot of activity on Seeker devices, which logged over 9 million transactions and $2.6 billion in volume since August. A total of 30% of SKR supply is reserved for airdrop incentives, with an additional 2.7 billion SKR unlocking at the token generation event for liquidity, the community treasury, and growth initiatives. SKR aims to empower users and developers to influence platform governance and future economic systems of the Solana Mobile ecosystem. The Seeker phone, priced at $500, received over 150,000 pre-orders, while the original Saga phone is not supported for this airdrop or future updates.
