WisdomTree, MoonPay team up to expand US access to tokenized money market fund
WisdomTree and MoonPay are partnering to broaden US investor access to WisdomTree’s tokenized Treasury money market fund, WTGXX. MoonPay is building an access point using its infrastructure, which could expose the fund to more than 35 million MoonPay accounts. WTGXX is a tokenized money market mutual fund designed to maintain a $1 share price. MoonPay also plans to use WTGXX in its stablecoin reserve management, alongside US dollars and other high-quality liquid assets. The collaboration may later expand to additional tokenized funds and markets outside the US. The tokenized US Treasury market was about $15.4 billion, with WTGXX at roughly $1.23 billion. WTGXX has also seen strong recent demand, with $466 million in net flows over the past 30 days.
