Bitcoin ETFs Take Nearly $1B in a Day as Average Holder Returns to Profit
U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs saw nearly $999 million of net inflows on Monday, a sharp rebound after the prior week’s record-low weekly inflow. BlackRock’s IBIT led with $381 million, followed by ARKB with $289 million and Fidelity’s FBTC with $239 million; several smaller funds had modest gains, while VanEck and Valkyrie saw no inflows. Bitcoin’s rise pushed the average ETF holder back above the estimated cost basis of $81,722 for the first time since January, meaning most holders are now in profit. That may reduce pressure from loss-selling and clarify whether institutions are adding exposure or just exiting prior positions. Trading volume was heavy at about $4.5 billion, though not unusually high relative to the price move. Cumulative net inflows since launch reached $56.16 billion, and the ETFs now hold $110.14 billion, or 6.3% of Bitcoin’s market cap.
