BNY offers XRP custody, but only 1 rollout type exists

BNY has added XRP custody for eligible institutional clients, alongside its existing role as primary reserve custodian for Ripple’s RLUSD. The announcement does not identify customers, XRP balances, jurisdictions or new purchases; custody transfers may simply move existing holdings. Separately, C2FO and Ripple plan to use RLUSD for settlement on the XRP Ledger in a limited US rollout, but activity and volumes remain unverified.
