Boerse Stuttgart Digital, Tradias close European crypto merger
Boerse Stuttgart Digital and institutional crypto trading firm Tradias have finalized their merger after clearing ownership control approval. The combined unit will operate under the Boerse Stuttgart Digital name, while Tradias remains the trading-services brand. The deal creates a digital asset infrastructure business with about 300 employees focused on serving banks, brokers, and other financial institutions across Europe. The unit will offer trading, custody, staking, and tokenization services, with headquarters in Frankfurt and Stuttgart and additional offices in several European and Middle Eastern cities. Tradias founder Christopher Beck and Boerse Stuttgart Digital managing director Ulli Spankowski will act as co-CEOs. Boerse Stuttgart Digital already serves institutions such as DZ Bank, DekaBank, Intesa Sanpaolo, and Société Générale-FORGE, while Tradias works with clients including flatexDEGIRO, dwpbank, and European government institutions. Tradias provides trading and market-making for more than 150 cryptocurrencies and other digital assets. Financial terms were not disclosed.
