Chainlink Is Now Rewarding LINK Stakers With Tokens From Other Projects
Chainlink launched a new incentive system called Chainlink Rewards, aimed at providing ecosystem tokens to participants and LINK token stakers. The initial collaboration is with Space and Time, which will allocate 4% of its SXT token supply to eligible LINK stakers. The program, starting May 8, is designed to evolve with a more advanced claiming mechanism in the future. Chainlink's Build program supports early-stage and established projects in the ecosystem, allowing them to offer a percentage of their token supply to LINK stakers. For the Season Genesis launch, active stakers can claim 2% of the SXT token, with another 2% reserved for future rewards. Eligibility requires staking LINK before a March 31 snapshot. Currently, LINK is priced at $13.66, down 2.8% in the last 24 hours but up 8% over the past month.
