Cloudflare introduces wallets for AI agents, plans stablecoin payments

Cloudflare launched Cloudflare Wallets, a programmable wallet for AI agents built to support stablecoin payments. The product is designed to help AI agents identify themselves and pay for APIs and digital content through stablecoin micropayments, enabling “agentic commerce.” Users can already claim a Cloudflare Wallet handle, while payment functionality will arrive later. Cloudflare plans to connect the wallets to its Monetization Gateway, which uses Coinbase’s x402 protocol for stablecoin micropayments. The company says this could make it easier to try APIs without creating an account and let agents test services with minimal friction. The wallets will also support storing stablecoins and receiving payments across the web.
