Dogecoin Is About to Get a Flood of Games Via DogeOS and PlaysOut
Dogecoin will launch a series of hypercasual mini-games through the DogeOS application layer, utilizing the DOGE network for rewards. Approximately 15 Doge-themed games will be released by the end of the year, starting in August, accessible via the MyDoge wallet and PlaysOut mobile app. The games will feature leaderboards, quests, and competitions rewarding players with DOGE token airdrops, and in-game items will be tradable as Dogecoin NFTs, or Doginals. PlaysOut aims to introduce global IP into the Dogecoin ecosystem through licensing agreements, with the first announcement expected in Q3. The games will cover various genres, promoting community engagement and showcasing Dogecoin's utility beyond a meme. PlaysOut collaborates with developers experienced on WeChat to adapt games for Western audiences, incorporating the Doge meme into reskinned assets.
