Galaxis Raises $10M, Doubling Down on Belief That NFTs Will Provide Real Value Everywhere
Singapore-based Web3 platform, Galaxis, has raised $10 million in funding from investors such as Chainlink, Ethereum Name Services (ENS), Rarestone Capital, Taisu Ventures, and ENS co-founder Nick Johnson. The funding also includes gains from the company's node sale of over 11,000 'Galaxis Engines'. Galaxis, which assists creators and brands in launching non-fungible token (NFT) collections, has collaborated with celebrities like DJ Steve Aoki, actor Val Kilmer, and NBA personality LaMelo Ball. The platform has sold over 225,000 NFTs in the past few years, generating more than 32,000 ETH ($100 million) in secondary NFT sales. The company is now preparing for mass distribution. Galaxis enables individuals or brands to create engagement and reward mechanisms for their communities through NFTs by eliminating the need for third-party engagement tools.
