OKX, NYSE parent file to launch tokenized US stock platform

Summary

OKXICE, a 50-50 joint venture between OKX and Intercontinental Exchange, notified the SEC of plans to launch a tokenized securities venue under the agency’s innovation exemption. The platform is expected to offer more than 60 US-listed companies. The exemption permits limited, permissioned trading of tokenized National Market System stocks through automated market makers and liquidity pools. The companies formed the joint venture in June to develop tokenized financial products.
