Despite the recent bear market in the cryptocurrency industry, the Shiba Inu (SHIB) project, led by Lead Developer Shytoshi Kusama, has remained active and committed to development. The team launched Shibarium, a decentralized finance (DeFi) platform and Ethereum layer-2 blockchain, despite initial bridging issues that caused the token price to drop. In addition, the SHIB project expanded into the physical world by creating "Shibacals," NFC chips that can authenticate collectibles on the Shibarium blockchain. The SHIB project also announced partnerships with the Manny Pacquiao Foundation for fundraising and Bad Idea AI for its next phase. The project has also focused on community involvement with initiatives like the launch of The Shib magazine.
