XRP Ledger adds new controls for banks, stablecoins and tokenized funds

Summary

The XRP Ledger activated PermissionDelegationV1_1 on Oct. 8, allowing account owners to grant other accounts limited permissions without sharing their control keys. Helpers can receive up to 10 action-specific permissions, which owners can change or revoke; the feature is intended to reduce the risks of keeping powerful signing keys online and to enforce business role separation on-ledger. Users are warned not to delegate PaymentBurn because it can, under certain conditions, let a helper create tokens. A fix is awaiting sufficient validator support. Developers are also reviewing a separate issue that can cause some servers to miscount validators during upgrade votes.
