XRP’s $1.16 recovery gets support from whales and a $285 million ETF streak
XRP has rebounded above $1.16, but the move is still fragile, with price near $1.14 and no decisive breakout yet. A key shift is happening in supply: large holders are accumulating while sending far fewer tokens to exchanges, especially Binance. Wallets with 100,000 to 100 million XRP increased balances by 2.8% over five weeks, while small holders reduced theirs. Whales now account for a record share of XRP outflows from centralized exchanges, and whale deposits to Binance have collapsed sharply, suggesting less near-term selling pressure. At the same time, US spot XRP ETFs continue to draw steady inflows, adding a recurring source of demand. The combination of shrinking exchange supply and persistent ETF buying is supporting the recovery, but XRP still needs stronger spot demand to break out of its recent trading range.
