Zero-click iOS exploits drain $4M USDT from active TRON wallets
Summary
Bitquery traced at least $4 million in USDT thefts between Oct. 5 and Nov. 4 to a network of 365 TRON addresses, including 43 collector wallets linked through shared fee-funding flows. The links indicate a network but do not prove one operator controlled it. Bitquery counted transfers that emptied an address’s USDT balance and excluded several uncertain or internal transactions. Separately, Security Alliance recorded six iOS wallet-compromise reports totaling about $127,000 from Oct. 28 to Nov. 3. Security researchers have documented iPhone spyware and exploit kits capable of collecting wallet data and stealing crypto. Trust Wallet advised users to update iOS and avoid storing recovery phrases or private keys in screenshots or notes.
